The 8th grade Band, Chorus, and Orchestra groups will be heading to Six Flags on May 19.
Join us on May 21 as the WRMS 7th grade Band performs. The performance will begin at 7:00 PM in the school gym.
8th Grade Promotion will be held on May 23 in the WRMS Gym.

Summer Enrichment Programs

middle school level have been cancelled.

Students have the opportunity to improve their skills by attending the 2012 summer sports camps. Check back often as more camps are posted.
Summer Sports Camps
Washburn Rural Middle School recently received Gold Level recognition from the Kansas Association of Middle School Administrators
(KAMSA) at the organization's annual conference in Topeka. High Performing schools were honored during the May 9 KAMSA Awards
luncheon at Washburn University.
On December 2, Washburn Rural Middle School was awarded the Bronze Award in recognition of the school's proactive approach to helping
our students lead healthier lives.
Washburn Rural Middle School has received a grant for $970 from the BlueCross BlueShield of Kansas Foundation. The grant will be used
to purchase rotational workout equipment for Physical Education and athletics at the school.
